So, over March/April spring break, I decided to try to make my own bangles! In the stores and other places, these bangles range from $25-$50 dollars. I thought, that is outrageous! I can make that :) So, this was my project for the week. Needless to say, it took off! I was a bangle making fool. It was so much fun to begin to get orders and see that people liked my work. I can’t wait for summer to try and get in more orders and sell at other locations!
Well, today is the big 2-9 for me. I can’t believe it’s my last year in my twenties. Where did the time go? Today was supposed to be the first day back for the kids at school, but what do ya know? It’s a snow day! So I decided to tackle another project I’ve been wanting to do – a painting for Maddy’s room! When she switched rooms I was searching for something to hang and decided I could paint one just the same! I love it! What do you think? Happy Birthday to me! :)
I was SO EXCITED when I was asked by Ciao Bella Photography to come help out with their Glamour Campaign and do hair and make-up for the photoshoot. I had a blast and can’t wait for more! Thank you so much for having me and I am looking forward to the future! This began December 2014 and I can only predict success! Sorry for the last pictures, the came off of my phone!

My aunt has her own catering business, I’ve metioned them before, Three Thrifty Chicks…in an earlier post. So, when my soon-to-be stepbrother was getting married, they catered and I offered help! Of course it was fun working with your family, for family! It was such a cute vintage wedding with details that were so adorable to the bride and groom. This Day of the Dead November Wedding was so cute! I loved it! Thank you for having me
So here’s the thing, my best friend Kimmy was getting married to Dan (he’s Australian) so they needed a central location for the ceremony…what better place then Maui, Hawaii! Of course I said yes to be in the wedding and decided to help out with hair and make-up and decorations/planning, too! IT WAS A BLAST! I loved every minute of it and Kimmy was the most beautiful bride I have ever seen. Every detail was her and I must admit, the bridal party was pretty great, too! For a November 2014 wedding, I’d say the weather was pretty nice! Kimmy, I love you so much – thank you for letting me help and stand by your side!
Jessie is one of my good friends and my best friends sister. Naturally, I wanted to help give her something special on her wedding day, so I did hair and make-up for her bridal party and the bride. It was a blast! Such a fun group of girls and a pleasure to be around! Jessie and Charles’ wedding in October 2014 at Ritchie Lake was so sweet! They love each other very much. I also completed some decorations for the wedding and helped planning some of the big day!
Jessie, thank you so much for including me in your festivities, I had a blast!
